This issue is, again 48 pages, and packed with a great variety of aviation information. Congratulations and thank you to those who's work appears
on these pages, and thank you to those who submitted content. If your story did not make this issue, we'll surely run it in a future issue. Keep
that content coming. Also, special thanks to newsletter editor Betty Veronico for her tireless work editing content and page design. Her
attention to detail when it comes to words into type is fantastic. No widows or orphans in this publication!
I hope you'll take a minute to read Ron Close's article about the awarding of the Col. Ben Donahue Memorial Scholarship. Ben Donahue was a great
man, unusual storyteller, and an awesome friend. Ron Close's single-handed efforts to find a program to collaborate with in awarding this scholarship
to a future leader and aviator are greatly appreciated and highly commendable. When you see Ron Close at a meeting, I hope you'll take a minute to
thank him for his devotion to this cause. Remembering Ben Donahue means a lot to me personally, and on behalf of the members, I'd like to say "THANK YOU!"
to Ron. Nice work.
Please enjoy this edition of Touch & Go, and if you don't save them when you're done reading them, I hope you'll pass this magazine along to a friend to
introduce them to the Society for Aviation History. Touch & Go, our tours, our website, our free DVD lending library, and our meetings all combine for a
fantastic value for your annual dues. Please take advantage of all the society has to offer. It's yours to enjoy.
See you at the October general meeting.
