Wings Over Wine Country 2005 Hosted by the by the Pacific Coast Air Museum (PCAM) in Santa Rosa at the Sonoma County Airport, I made my annual trek to their show which was held on August 20-21. I was only able to attend Saturdays show, which started out foggy, but cleared by about noon. The show flew remote control planes, full size aerobatic performances, warbirds, and flight tactical demonstrations by an A-10 Thunderbolt II and an F/A-18C Hornet. These had the added attractions of USAF Heritage Flights paired up with WWII aircraft. One of the best parts of this show for me, was getting to see the Planes Of Fames Northrop N9MB "Flying Wing" circle the field several times. I don't have the big lenses of the professionals, so these aerial pictures that I have posted are just to give you a visual as to the activity of this show. If you have any additional information or corrections for these pictures, let me know. There is text attached to all the photographs. All text and photographs are by Roger Cain (NC 148).
