Moffett Field Air Expo 2004 With a perfect weather weekend, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headlined at Moffett Field during Memorial Weekend, May 29-30th. Most of the static pictures that I took were in the early morning before the planes were swamped with people, especially the USCG HC-130 and the NASA 747. The air show was flawless, and I attended this two day event on Sunday, as I was at Watsonville on the previous day. With these two shows on the same weekend, and im close proximity to each other, there was concern as to whether these two shows would affect the gate attendance of each other, but Watsonville had their best attendance in recent years. If you have any additional information or corrections for these pictures, let me know. There is text attached to all the photographs. All photographs were taken by Roger Cain (NC 148).
