Beginning with what appeared to be an old covered wagon with wings, the top was quickly discarded, and the carriage dropped away as the wing and pilot, Devon Lyons was launched. The Oregon Wagoneer STOL managed to float down like a leaf, keeping Lyons dry and earning them the second place award of a choice of paragliding lessons or a $3,000 cash equivalent. The team consists of Garret Kovach, Steve Munson, Ivan Piesh, and Ryan Stowasser, all from southern Oregon.
